She has been a Registered Nurse for over 40 years, and holds a bachelor's degree in Education and a master's degree in Public Administration. A North Carolina native, she has worked in NC public/community health for almost 30 years - with experience working with local

A North Carolina native, she has worked in NC public/community health for almost 30 years - with experience working with local public health, federally qualified health centers, and community coalitions, as well as statewide and national partners.
